Jess Schumann is a graduate from Fort Hays State University. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Human Performance and concentrated in health promotion and wellness. Her ultimate goal is to help the community of Emporia by coming together through health and wellness. She wants to be the driving force and motivation you need to stick with a healthy lifestyle!
Jess has worked with all ages and teaches various classes at Emporia Fitness, including Power Pump, Quick Spin and Golden Gear.
Greg is actively involved in the health and fitness industry. He is a physical therapist at PT Associates of Emporia, where he specializes in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation.
Greg teaches the SHRED class. The emphasis of the class is to promote a high level of physical health through education and exercise. This class combines strength training, flexibility, and conditioning. Each class is structured to allow participation by adults of all ages.
Amy has been active in the Fitness Industry, instructing Step Aerobics, Body Sculpting classes and a fitness class for Seniors since 2003.
In 2007 Amy discovered Zumba Fitness, giving her the opportunity to fill her passion for fitness, dance and music. She has attended two Zumba Basics Fitness Certifications and a Zumba Basics (Level 2) Certification. Also, is a member of the Zumba Instructors Network. Amy's most recent certification is with INSANITY! Modifications are always given making this a great class for all fitness levels!
She loves combining Fitness & Fun, taking the “work” out of working out and making it an adventure.
Amy is the mother of 3 very active boys, and wants to be an inspiration to her children to always stay active and healthy.
Linda is a graduate from Emporia State University with a degree in Business Administration. She became an aerobic dance instructor in 1990. She also has experience teaching group fitness classes in step, water aerobic, body sculpting and cardio kickboxing. She became a certified Pilates instructor in 2003. She loves the total body experience that Pilates offers to individuals of all different fitness levels. She currently teaches Pilates, a class that is a low impact workout that will challenge every muscle in the body!

Carrie started teaching group fitness classes in 2003. Carrie has taught Step Aerobics, Body Sculpting and a senior fitness class. In 2007, she became certified in PiYo and has been teaching PiYo since 2008. She loves yoga and sharing the many benefits of it through her classes.
Carrie is also a Certified Personal Trainer through AFAA.

Lu has been involved in sports and physically active since she was 7 years old. She played collegiate volleyball for four years and taught private volleyball lessons in the off-season. Her passion is to help other people get involved with fitness and create healthier lifestyles!
Outside personal training, Lu is currently teaching Power Pump .5, SHRED, Weekend Warriors and the BFIT Summer Strength and Conditioning classes!

Alex has been part of the health and fitness industry since 2016. He is certified through the American Council of Exercise (ACE) and his passion is helping others. As a personal trainer, it is his goal to help his clients realize their full potential, reach their set goals, and give them the knowledge and confidence to continue on their own!
